About this Course

Every year, at The English House, we prepare young people and professionals for the B2 CEFR (Common European Framework) exams. These qualifications are increasingly in demand by universities and employers and serve as a paper proof of each student’s level of English.

The typically two-year courses are taught in small groups and, like all our classes, are taught by certified native teachers. This way, there’s plenty of opportunity to engage in real, authentic conversations, something not all preparatory courses can guarantee.

Cambridge English: First (FCE):
Aimed at upper-intermediate students.
It assesses more advanced skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

How can I book a course?

You can easily book your course online by clicking the “Apply Online” button at the top or right side of the page and following the instructions. Once we receive your booking, we’ll send you a confirmation email with your enrollment details and total course fees. To secure your place, a €350 advance payment is required via credit card or bank transfer. Please note that your spot will only be reserved once this payment has been received.

When is the next start date?

New courses start every month, so you can join the next available session that fits your schedule.

What level of Spanish can I reach?

You can progress from beginner (A1) up to proficient (C1), following the CEFR framework.

What is the minimum Course period?

The minimum course period is 12 week, allowing you to choose the duration that best suits your needs and schedule.

How many lessons per week will I study?

You will study 10 to 20 lessons per week, depending on the course type you choose.

What class size can I expect?

Classes are small, with 10–12 students per group, ensuring personal attention and effective learning.

Do you offer accommodation?

Yes, we can help arrange host family stays or nearby hotels through our trusted partners.

Are there extracurricular activities?

Yes! We organize cultural tours, social events, Support activities and language exchanges to make your learning experience fun and immersive.

What is the class schedule?

Classes are held from Monday to Friday (except Bank and Public Holidays), usually between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

Can I extend my course once it starts?

Of course! You can easily extend your course duration depending on availability.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my course?

Refunds are only available in certain cases. The €350 prepayment is non-refundable, but any remaining balance paid in advance may be refunded on the basis of circumstances i.e refusals, cancellation or withdrawal, if you cancel before the course start date (administrative fees may apply).
