About this Course
Every year, at The English House, we prepare young people and professionals to achieve the A2 level (optional exam) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF). It is an intermediate step towards the B1 level. These English qualifications are increasingly in demand by universities and companies and serve as a paper proof of each student’s level of English.
The A2 (KET) course, which typically lasts one year, is taught in small groups and, like all our classes, is taught by native, certified teachers. This means there’s plenty of opportunity to engage in real, authentic conversations, something not all preparation courses can guarantee.
This course focuses on four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Reading : Understand advertisements, signs, forms, and simple messages.
Writing : Write notes and short messages.
Listening Comprehension : Understand basic instructions and simple conversations.
Oral Expression : Participate in simple interactions and answer basic questions on familiar topics.
Level A2 (KET) demonstrates the student’s ability to use English in practical, everyday situations.
